If you have relatives who had breast cancer, it may be risky to delay the exam. It's important that your practitioner will order exams, even if the guidelines are against it.

  • How often should I come see you for check-ups?
    Check-ups are usually recommended annually. If you have an illness or condition like diabetes or asthma, it's important to follow your practitioner's recommendations which may mean going to have your heart, lungs, and throat checked every few months. Eye and ear exams are usually recommended every 48 months.
