    Both consignment shops and thrift stores resale used items. However, all proceeds from a thrift store belong to that store.   • What type of items do thrift shops typically carry?
    They carry many different items. Thrift shops regularly carry clothes and jewelry. Second hand furniture is also readily available. Some stores cater to used furniture sales, while others offer buyers a cheap place to purchase clothes and footwear.

  • Do thrift shops have regular sale days?
    Yes. Many thrift and resale retail have a weekly sale on different items. Some use a system where certain colored tags indicate a sale item.
