Consider these tips when looking for the perfect day spa:

Tip #1: Make sure the products the salon sells are high in quality
One sign of a reputable, high-quality day spa is the availability of the top brands of professional spa products. But that’s not enough. Salon workers should be able to show you how to properly use the products, too. If they have no knowledge of how to actually apply the products for optimal use, you shouldn’t buy them.

Tip #2: Make sure licenses are prominently displayed
Any reputable day spa you visit should have readily available licenses, which each professional should have according to their area of expertise. So, nail technicians, massage therapists and estheticians should all have up to date licenses in their specialty. This ensures quality work by qualified professionals.

Tip #3: Make sure there are clean showers
When visiting a day spa, there should be at least one men’s and one women’s shower with separate changing areas. Many day spas also offer robes and slippers in every size to accommodate their guests. You are paying good money to be there, so you should be treated like royalty.
