Tip #1: Make sure the products the salon sells are high in quality

Salon workers should be able to show you how to properly use the products, too. If they have no knowledge of how to actually apply the products for optimal use, you shouldn’t buy them.

Tip #2: Make sure licenses are prominently displayed
Any reputable day spa you visit should have readily available licenses, which each professional should have according to their area of expertise. So, nail technicians, massage therapists and estheticians should all have up to date licenses in their specialty. This ensures quality work by qualified professionals.

Tip #3: Make sure there are clean showers
