    Becoming a pharmacist, or chemist as the position is called in some places, involves a lot for schooling and dedication. Students must take up to two years of pre-pharmacy coursework at the college level, plus achieve a high score on the admissions test. Pharmacies located within hospitals often feature access to technicians 24 hours a day, as hospitals never close. Some drug stores are also open at all hours, meaning you can head in there at 3 in the morning and fill your prescription if needed. Clinics also feature pharmacies, for use by doctors and nurses.
