Terms Related to Industrial Pressure and Chemical Cleaning Services
The following are some terms that are related to industrial pressure and chemical cleaning services:

Abrasive: Abrasive is a term that is used to describe a substance that works through friction. Abrasive cleaners, for example, wear away at a surface in order to remove dirt and other build up. Abrasion can also cause the actual floor finish, or other surface, to deteriorate.

Builder: A builder is an additional substance that is added to a cleaning compound that affects its performance. For example, there are builders that alter the hardness of water and other ones that help break down oil and grease so it can be removed easier.

Cleanser: A cleanser is a cleaning product that typically has abrasives, bleach, and other stronger cleaning agents in it. Cleansers can be found in power or liquid form.

Emulsification: Emulsification is the process by which a substance, often a builder, breaks down oil, grease, fat, and similar materials. The smaller particles that these substances are divided into are easier to trap within a liquid, which makes them easier to remove.

Neutral Cleaner: A neutral cleaner is one that is ideal for washing a particular floor. The cleaner and the floor’s finish have compatible pH levels. This means that the cleaner will not harm the surface. Neutral cleaners typically have a pH level of seven, eight, or nine.

pH: This scale, which goes up to 14, is used to determine a substance’s alkalinity or acidity. Distilled water has a pH level of seven. A level below seven means the substance is an acid, and a level above seven means the substance is an alkali.

Solvent: A solvent is a liquid that is capable of dissolving another substance. While most people think of acids and similar liquids when they think of solvents, water is technically a solvent, too. Insoluble substances cannot be dissolved into another substance.

Wetting Agent: A wetting agent is a special chemical that can be added to liquids to help spread it across a surface more easily. The wetting agent accomplishes this by lowering the surface tension of the liquid.

In order to find a cleaner who can remove and clean an area from toxic waste, you can first ask friends and relatives if they have had any experience finding a company with the latest hoses, pumps, and pressure washes. Once you have a few recommendations, you can call each company and see if they are able to clean the size of the area you're looking for. In general, most cleaners will have the proper equipment to fix or repair what you need. You can ask what brand of equipment they use. Some may have CAT equipment, while others have general brands that you have still heard of. Either way, they will be able to tell you if your explosion of chemicals is able to be cleaned by hot water, or if you need special soaps and motor powered hoses and washers that are powerful enough to remove toxic waste. Services will range in price, so you may want to ask how they charge. Some may charge by the area, while others are by the hour. Many companies are gradually becoming greener, and may have organic or hypo-allergenic soaps for their cleaning. You can ask what type of technology they use and see what type of industrial hoses and pressure washer trigger guns they use. Industrial hoses and pumps should have the proper parts to shuttle the toxic waste to an area where distribution of it will be safe for the environment. You will also want to see proof that the toxic gases from the explosion have been removed before you enter back into the building.
