We offer wheelchair transportation services as well, whatever your transportation need we will provide it. We provide transportation including shuttles, cabs and buses.

If you have a passion for helping those who are handicapped, whether they be elderly or not, maybe you should consider a position in disability transport. You can do this by either starting a non emergency transport company, joining a pre-existing company, becoming a public bus driver, or becoming a paramedic.

Owning a company takes business and marketing knowledge along with knowing and obeying tax laws. You need to purchase at least one vehicle that is wheelchair accessible, usually a van of some sorts, and make sure each vehicle available is outfit to hold medical supplies. This means room for oxygen tanks, places to hang IV bags, etc. You'll have to manage employees and make sure everyone maintains a clean driving record in their personal and professional lives. Training must be done for you and your employees on how to help adults and elderly with handicaps on how to get into and out of your coach safely. As owner, you'll also have to set rental service prices for each shuttle. Employees of these companies must help with making appointments, phone support, equipment repair, and drivers. They must be willing to pick up folks at their home and take them to the hospital or alternative destination.

Public service jobs, like bus drivers, have to cater to the community as a whole. If your transit is outfit for disability services, you must be knowledgeable enough to assist the wheelchair bound, blind, deaf, and other persons onto your vehicle. Training for this is often covered by the company you work for. Paramedics and EMTs must also know how to aid those who need it onto and off their vehicle, but must also be able to provide emergency medical care while mobile. Training is extensive and usually done by the local fire company.
