Many times, when you are looking for a fun night out, you and your family go to visit the movie theatre. When you are picking the theatre that you want to visit, you may be influenced by admission prices, what matinees are available, and whether or not it is a multiplex theatre. After you decide on the cinema, you will then need to drive over there. One of the first people you will probably encounter for larger screenings will probably be a valet, who will park your car for you.

The next person you encounter is the employee handling ticket sales. This person can help inform you about information on IMAX prices, what movies are playing at the cinema, and how many rooms are devoted to the double feature that may be going on. The next person you will encounter is the ticket collector. He/she can direct you to the room where your flick is playing, and may even be able to give you some interesting details about the artwork in the lobby.

After you are in the auditorium, you have a choice between walking straight in to watch your film play, or getting a drink and some snacks during the trailers. If you decide to go and get your snacks, you will then be dealing with the employee behind the snack counter. This person can give you information on popcorn prices, and may be able to recommend a new motion picture.

One person you don't see when sitting in your seat in the audience will be the employee monitoring the projector. This person makes sure that everything goes smoothly during the movie showing, and then preserves the film afterward. They may operate a few different shows, and may have to adjust the projector, depending on how big the screen is.

When you are choosing a cinema theatre that has local show times that are convenient for you, there are many things to consider. You probably have lots of move theatres listed in your online directory for you area, which makes it hard for some people to choose an independent theater, big megaplex, or multiplex with auditorium seating that is right for them. We provide a few questions that you can use to help you make your decision. The first thing that you will want to do is find a cinema with the movie you want to see playing at a convenient time. Contact the movie theatres and ask them if they show classics, arts films, kinemas, and feature motion pictures. Get the times that they are screening them, but ask them how long they show trailers so that you know when you should arrive for the film. Now, find out what kinds of projectors, sound systems, screens, and seating they have. Some people prefer large stadium seating with reclining leather chairs that can hold large audiences, but others want a more intimate environment when they watch flicks. When you find a local cinema with the show times and theatres that you prefer, you should ask them and the drinks and food that they have for sale in the lobby. Find out what types of popcorn, candy, pizza, nachos, and other foods they have, and get prices for them so that you know how much each one charges for these items.
