  • What kind of carpet should I buy?

  • Should I hire an installer or do the job myself?

An improperly installed carpet may pose safety hazards due to unevenness, which can cause people to trip. Also, if you do it yourself, you are liable for all damages if the job goes awry, while a professional installer should be insured (but you should definitely check to make sure).     Before a wholesaler or retailers sells you carpet, there are steps they take. First, they come to your home or office to measure the area.
