One line of work that many janitorial professionals are involved with is ceiling cleaning. After all, there are many wood, acoustical coating, vinyl, and grid patterned tiles on ceilings that need to be cleaned and/or repaired. This can be a challenging line of work, but it can also be exciting for the right individuals. In this field, you get to work with gentle absolute cleaning solutions, protective ceiling coatings and covers, steam treatment equipment, and powerful pressure washing sprayers. You may also have to assist some people with ceiling restoration, construction, remodeling, or simple repairs. It just depends on the job.
As you may already know, there are janitorial services located all over America that aid with ceiling cleaning and renovations. Many of these workers use equipment with BPS technology, as well as absolute solutions that assist with mold, stain, and dirt removal. In this line of work, you will need some special training in order to learn more about properly and effectively cleaning acoustical ceilings, tiles, and walls. Some clients may require assistance with vinyl coating installation, new ceiling build out materials, and damaged wood removal. You may also need to inform commercial building managers and residential homeowners how to prevent mold from forming. This is important for certain health and safety reasons.
You will work with a number of different clients and customers in this janitorial field. While some of these individuals may be residential homeowners, others will be office building workers, shopping mall managers, and simple shop or store owners.
