Trichotillomania

After 9-11 I thought I would do something really important like stop pulling out my eyelashes. Then I could write a short essay about my ordeal growing up without any, and then alll of a sudden growing them back again in honor of those whose died on Sept. 11.
My mother said no one will care about my autobiography so I began to pull. Them out again. Any advice on if we (some of those with Trichotillomania will become famous some day)? I'd like that.Thanks. By the way, my e-mail is bogus---had to put it there to send a response sorry.

Hi Deb! Looking back, I think my mom was right. By the way that's too bad that there is not a support group in your area.Have you tried a counselor? I'm seeing one now and she is really understanding. Best of luck to you.

To those out there still suffering from trichotillomania, hang in there.I study Wicca, and maybe can find a spell to try to grow your hair again. MOre later. To me Wicca is fairly harmless. Don't you think?
