National Dance Institute (NDI) is a not-for-profit arts education organization founded in 1976 by Jacques d'Amboise.
Through in-school partnerships, workshops, and public performances, NDI uses dance as a catalyst to engage children and motivate them towards excellence.
National Dance Institute, founded in 1976 by New York City Ballet principal dancer Jacques d’Amboise, seeks exuberant, joyful, highly skilled dancers to share their love of dance with children by becoming Teaching Apprentices in our NYC partner schools during the 2008-2009 season.
Teaching Apprentice positions require completing a 2-week workshop in the NDI pedagogy.
Full scholarships to the March 2008 Teacher Training 2-Week Workshop will be awarded to selected auditionees.
To register, or for more information, contact Aileen Barry, Program Director, 212-226-0083, or e-mail training@nationaldance.org For more info on NDI, visit www.nationaldance.org |
