Vending Machines Merchandise
Some individuals work in the vending machine merchandise industry. This often involves selling and/or transporting food products, toys, chewing gum, and newspapers to vending machines around the United States. This can be a busy and exciting line of work to get involved with. As you may already know, there are countless vending carts and machines across the country that consistently require more soda, coffee, snack foods, candy items, and cheap toys. This is an important line of work, and plenty of students, workers, and other consumers rely on vending machine merchandise every day.
You likely need some on-the-job training in order to get involved with this line of work. Depending on whether you are a wholesale manufacturer, or supplier that delivers food, beverages and other products to machines across the country, your necessary training will vary. If you do restock vending machines with merchandise like candy, soda drinks, and gum, you will need to learn specific routes. You will also need to know about the types of cheap toys, custom jewelry, food products, and clothing or apparel you handle daily. While you may need to sell various snack foods like chips, cookies, and crackers to a buyer on one day, you may have to supply sandwiches, ice cream, and coffee to another client on the next day. You also need to keep in mind that these vending machines accept coins and dollar bills, which you may need to collect.
In this line of work, you can expect to deal with vending machine merchandise suppliers, wholesale distributors, product manufacturers, and various clients that need these products all the time.
