Newlyweds will often register for appliances for their new home that are quite unique and almost as fun to purchase as they are to use. You may find electric kettles, bread machines, and deep fryers on the registry; and coffee lovers may want expresso machines, coffee grinders, and steel coffee makers to complete their kitchens. If the couple is more exotic, they might have chosen woks or pasta makers as potential gifts. While it is unlikely that many of these couples (besides those who are quite accomplished cooks!) will use many of the appliances that are more involved than toasters, microwaves, and vacuums, it is still a joy to give them what they have registered for. They may never do more than pull the appliance out of its box, but at least they know they have the fancy flatware and vegetable steamer they always wanted!
