Tip #1: Examine the Basics

If a washing machine and a dryer are not located in the flat or the building, find out where the nearest laundry facility is. Inspect the total number of apartments in the building, particularly how many are located near your prospective home. Remember that noise complaints can easily be filed against you, too. Make sure tasks like parking will not be a daily hassle. Finally, familiarize yourself with the apartment’s policies on things like pets and smoking.

Tip #2: Safety and Convenience
